Mark Thiessen

A REALTOR® Since 1988, Mark Thiessen has focused exclusively on the commercial real estate industry. He is active in all aspects of commercial real estate but enjoys most of his success in Investment Sales, Acquisition and Leasing in office, retail, industrial and multi-residential properties.


Mark has been the direct liaison with many institutional clients, including Telus Corporation, Worker’s Compensation Pension Fund of Ontario and Prudential Company of England. He has also consulted as a Tenant Representative for UPS, Bell Canada, ADP, Russel Metals, The Salvation Army, Dynacare, Robertson College, CAA, and many others.


Mark is an active volunteer both inside and outside the real estate industry. He is a Past-Chair of The Winnipeg Real Estate Board's Commercial Division and served on the committee which computerized commercial real estate listings (CPIX) in Winnipeg. He is a former Director of The Canadian Real Estate Association. He has sat on and chaired various committees and task forces on commercial real estate issues. He was instrumental in the re-branding of the Board in 2007 to the name Winnipeg REALTORS®. He is a Past-Chair of the Canadian Commercial Council of REALTORS®.


Mark has also served in executive and volunteer positions with several children’s charities. In four consecutive years, he received a Salesperson of the Year recognition, which was awarded, based on a tabulation of votes from his peers from Winnipeg REALTORS®. He has completed the four core courses required for the CCIM designation. Mark is a leader in the commercial real estate industry, technology, and the community that surrounds him.


Mark's years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, his ability to offer concise information and his high level of professionalism allow him to provide a superior level of service to all of his clients and fellow REALTORS®. He is very well respected within the brokerage community for his integrity and tenacious work ethic. His previous accolades include making the RE/MAX Top 5 Commercial Associated for 2010, 2011, and 2012.
